Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential property. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of property management, ensuring that our community remains a welcoming and well-maintained environment for all residents. This role requires effective communication, conflict management, and a proactive approach to property leasing and maintenance. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination. Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite for tracking leases, tenant communications, and maintenance requests. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain the aesthetic appeal of the community. Address tenant concerns promptly and effectively, employing conflict management skills to resolve issues amicably. Oversee the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting showings, processing applications, and executing lease agreements. Ensure adherence to Section 8 regulations and other legal requirements related to property management. Maintain accurate records of contracts, tenant information, and legal documentation related to property operations. Collaborate with maintenance staff to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion of work orders. Foster a positive community atmosphere by organizing resident events and promoting engagement among tenants. Experience Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential. Familiarity with Yardi or OneSite software is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally. Knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations is a plus. Experience in property leasing processes and sales techniques is beneficial. Background in legal administrative tasks or law can enhance effectiveness in managing contracts and compliance issues.
