We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our premier properties. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a passion for creating a positive community atmosphere and providing excellent service. LYN is looking for an outgoing individual with a professional appearance who has previous sales and/or property management experience. The person will be required to offer excellent personable service to our tenants. The position requires a calm demeanor in stressful interactions with tenants and the ability to enforce application and lease policies. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the leasing process, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements for rentals. Manage all maintenance requests, ensuring timely responses and resolutions, and coordinating with maintenance staff or contractors as needed for all homes. Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants/homeowners, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and efficiency. Handle and resolve conflicts or complaints from tenants/homeowners, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and diplomatically. Join COA calls and participate in COA budget creation. Monitor the property's physical condition, ensuring common areas are well-maintained and addressing any potential safety or maintenance issues. Implement and enforce property policies, lease terms, and company procedures in a consistent and fair manner. Prepare and distribute communications to tenants/homeowners, including reminders, updates, and important announcements. Track and report on occupancy rates, lease renewals, and other key property performance metrics for rental units. Build a sense of community by organizing events or activities that enhance the living experience for tenants/homeowners
Qualifications:
Prior experience in leasing, property management, or sales. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with tenants/homeowners, vendors, and staff. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to diffuse conflicts or tense situations effectively. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of organization. Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in a related field is a plus. Must be able to pass a background check. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
