Job Description

Join Our Team as a Part-Time Religious Services / Volunteer Coordinator Make your own schedule Starting at $21 Per Hour Help maintain a safe, respectful environment for residents, staff, and visitors by coordinating religious services, materials, and approved volunteers in accordance with facility policy and security requirements. What You'll Do Ensure equal status and appropriate accommodation for all faith groups within policy. Coordinate access to religious materials, clergy/faith representatives, and approved religious symbols as security allows. Recruit, onboard, schedule, and support religious program volunteers and outside program providers. Address volunteer issues; maintain required documentation and update tracking systems (e.g., Elite) for new arrivals and volunteer/provider records. Review special requests (including religious diets) in accordance with policy. Prepare monthly activity reports for recreational/spiritual and volunteer programming. Source low-cost or free religious items/activities and assist with communications (e.g., event flyers) using approved online tools. Approve and document religious items entering the facility; update property lists as needed. Qualifications Ability to work in a secure, policy-driven environment with professionalism and discretion. Knowledge of or willingness to learn guidelines for religious accommodations (including dietary and holiday observances). Strong organization and communication skills; able to coordinate schedules for volunteers/providers. Comfortable using standard web tools and office software to locate resources and produce basic flyers/reports. Ability to maintain accurate records and complete reports on deadline. #hc239370
