$25.54 / hour Description Help children and families build skills, strengthen resilience, and thrive through compassionate behavioral health support. The Community Support Specialist (CSS)•NCAT provides integrated behavioral health services to children and families participating in the Compass NCAT Day Treatment Program. This role supports youth both in the classroom and throughout the community by helping them develop skills, strengthen daily functioning, and work toward individualized wellness goals. The CSS partners closely with caregivers, schools, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide person-centered, strengths-based care that promotes long-term success and stability.Schedule:

Key Responsibilities Provide behavioral health support and skill-building services in classroom, home, and community settings Support children in the NCAT classroom environment and assist with crisis de-escalation when needed Facilitate or co-facilitate psychoeducational groups and therapeutic activities Collaborate with caregivers, school staff, providers, and community partners to support client wellness and progress Assist with the development and ongoing implementation of individualized Wellness Plans Help clients and families identify strengths, build natural supports, and access community resources and services Participate in crisis planning, care coordination, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary team meetings Maintain timely documentation and complete required assessments and service records Provide transportation to clients as clinically appropriate Deliver services during daytime, evening, or weekend hours based on client and program needs Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School/GED required Associates/Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field preferredWORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must qualify for position based on overall CSS requirements in at least one of the options listed: Qualified addiction professional; Bachelor's degree in a human services field from a college or university included in the U.S. Department of Education's database of accredited schools at http:/ope.ed.gov/accreditation ; Any four-year degree or combination of higher education and qualifying experience; Four years of qualifying experience; or Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree as designated by the department. Qualifying experience must include delivery of service to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.
