Companion Care Aide Job Description Assists clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and mobility. Accompanies patients to medical appointments and assists with errands, including grocery shopping, to support daily needs and enhance quality of life. Assist with light housekeeping including laundry, vacuuming, etc. Ensures patients have easily accessible meals and assists in meal preparation. Monitors patients for changes in physical and mental health changes and communicates with the practice manager. Maintain accurate records of client care, daily activities, and observations. Plan and engage in meaningful activities to encourage social interaction and mental stimulation. Collaborate with family members and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. Additional job duties as assigned. Job & Shift Type 7:00 a.m.
