Job Description

Company Bookkeeper Full‑Time | On‑Site | Regular Business Hours (Monday-Friday) Position Summary The Company Bookkeeper is responsible for day‑to‑day accounting and bookkeeping functions, weekly financial reporting, payroll entries, reconciliations, and periodic accounting tasks for multiple companies. This role supports accurate financial records and routine office operations in an on‑site office environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Handle daily accounting operations including checks, deposits, invoices, cash receipts, bill payments, and emails
  • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and the company checkbook
  • Process customer billing, payments, monthly statements, and sales tax filings
  • Prepare weekly financial summaries covering sales, expenses, deposits, bank balances, A/R, and A/P
  • Enter payroll journal entries and complete bank, credit card, and month‑end reconciliations with adjusting entries
  • Maintain accounting schedules (inventory, depreciation, fixed asset construction‑in‑progress schedule, outstanding checks) and support year‑end reporting (W‑9s/1099s)
  • Provide general office support including phones, driver tickets, contracts, and special accounting projects as needed Qualifications
  • QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Work Environment
  • On‑site office position, no remote work
  • Full‑time, regular weekday hours
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
