Compassionate caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide in-home support and companionship. Experience with tracheostomy (trach) care and oxygen support is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Provide companionship and supervision Assist with activities of daily living Support trach care according to care plan Monitor and assist with oxygen equipment Run errands and assist with appointments Light housekeeping Medication reminders Maintain a safe, comfortable environment Qualifications Previous caregiving or CNA experience preferred Experience with trach care and oxygen therapy preferred Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to follow care instructions carefully CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Personal Care:

Assist clients with essential daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

Mobility Assistance:

Help clients with moving around their homes, including transferring from bed to wheelchair and providing assistance during walking or standing.

Companionship:

Provide companionship and engage in conversation, promoting mental and emotional well-being.

Health Monitoring:

Monitor clients' health, observing signs of changes in condition or behaviors, and report any concerns to family members or supervisors.

Light Housekeeping:

Help with household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and tidy living environment.

Emotional Support:

Offer comfort and emotional support, providing clients with peace of mind and dignity as they navigate their daily routines.

Skills Experience:

A minimum of 1-3 years of caregiving experience, either professionally or as a personal caregiver. Experience in providing care for elderly clients, those with disabilities, or individuals recovering from surgery or illness is highly preferred.

Understanding of Care Needs:

Experience in providing care for individuals with chronic conditions, dementia, or mobility challenges, and knowledge of specific caregiving techniques.

Training:

Completion of caregiver training programs, CPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications is a plus, but not required.

Compassion and Empathy:

A true desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Dependability:

Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to report client progress clearly and effectively.

Flexibility:

Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to different caregiving situations and client needs.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to assist clients with mobility, including lifting, bending, and supporting them during activities.

Animal Lover :

Must love dogs, small and large
