Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. In this vital role, you will foster a warm, respectful environment while helping residents maintain their independence and dignity. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall well-being Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with care plans Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia care by implementing personalized routines Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies Provide emotional support, companionship, and social engagement to enhance residents' quality of life Requirements Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory impairments is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically assist residents using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and family members A compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others through direct support and caregiving Join us in delivering heartfelt care that truly makes a difference!
