This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, from artistic direction and team management to marketing and event planning. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for dance excellence, exceptional organizational skills, and a knack for fostering a motivated, high-performing team. As the face of the company, you will drive growth through strategic marketing initiatives, community engagement, and effective client relations, ensuring our dance company remains competitive and inspiring. Duties Develop and implement strategic plans to elevate the company's competitive standing in local and regional events. Lead audition processes, selecting talented dancers and assembling cohesive teams aligned with artistic vision. Oversee choreography development, rehearsals, and performance preparation to ensure high-quality productions. Manage marketing campaigns including event marketing, social media outreach, and community engagement to boost visibility and attract new talent and audiences. Plan and coordinate performances, competitions, showcases, and special events—handling all aspects from venue booking to logistics management. Negotiate contracts with venues, sponsors, vendors, and collaborators to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong professional relationships. Oversee budgeting processes for events and operations, ensuring financial efficiency while maximizing program quality. Provide exceptional customer service to dancers, parents, sponsors, and audiences—building lasting relationships through clear communication and personalized attention. Manage time effectively across multiple projects to meet deadlines without compromising quality or artistic integrity. Experience Proven experience in dance company leadership or arts organization management with a focus on competitive dance environments. Strong background in event planning and management—familiar with organizing performances, competitions, or large-scale arts events. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and engage diverse stakeholders effectively. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail—balancing artistic vision with operational excellence.
