Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Compliance Coordinator role based in Conway, SC. The Compliance Coordinator will oversee and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies. Responsibilities include monitoring regulatory requirements, performing internal audits, implementing compliance strategies, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires collaboration with various departments to create awareness and ensure adherence to compliance standards. The Compliance Coordinator will also be responsible for identifying risks and providing recommendations to address potential compliance challenges. Key Responsibilities Knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and industry best practices Maintain up-to-date compliance for federal, state, and local regulations (SCDOT and FMSCA) Monitor and enforce compliance with FMSCA and SCDOT Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance Oversee drug and alcohol testing program in compliance with DOT regulations Manage Driver Qualification files Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes within FMSCA and SCDOT and communicate updates to supervisor Qualifications Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and report preparation Knowledge of FMSCA and SCDOT regulations preferred Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
