The Compressor Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of compression and gas lift equipment to ensure safe, reliable production. This role responds to compression alarms, troubleshoots equipment issues, and coordinates closely with Production, Maintenance, Gas Measurement, and external vendors to resolve complex or out-of-scope problems. The technician performs routine field tasks such as housekeeping, minor repairs, winterization support, and equipment mobilization while maintaining proper communication with supervisors on site conditions and issues.Job Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to: Responsible for responding to compression alarms and identifying issues. Coordinate with production personnel to ensure proper understanding of equipment and troubleshooting. Coordinating with vendors on issues that cannot be resolved without specialized equipment or knowledge. Responsible for cleaning witches hats, repairing blow cases, sumps, pumping fluids, and minor repairs within scope of work. Work with Production to ensure proper volumes, injection rates, and pressures on gas lift and plunger wells. Coordinate with the gas measurement team to troubleshoot meter runs that are out of scope. Responsible for coordination with the maintenance department on winterization on all gas lift equipment. Mobilization and movement of facility equipment including but not limited to; heat trailers, power steamers and air compressors. Cross training on gas lift and plunger wells. Responsible for housekeeping at the compression facilities. Responsible for communication with supervisors on issues seen on location with equipment, vendors, or other company personnel.Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of (2) years related Gas Lift experience Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license Able to satisfy insurability standards to drive a company vehiclePreferred Qualifications:
Experience in planning and scheduling field operations activitiesRelocation:
