Job Description

Position Overview This role supports field construction and production operations by providing technical oversight of natural gas compressor installations, well pad infrastructure, and facility start-up activities. The position involves coordinating with field supervisors and engineers to ensure compressors and associated equipment are installed, operated, and maintained safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Provide field oversight during compressor installations, pad construction, and facility commissioning. Monitor day-to-day compressor performance and support routine and corrective maintenance. Review compressor-related drawings, design packages, and operating procedures; offer practical feedback to improve safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. Support both well pad compression setups and centralized compression facilities, including layout and operational flow. Assist with and supervise smaller engine repairs or maintenance tasks in coordination with production teams. Ensure all work follows established standards, best practices, and operational expectations. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of hands-on compression experience in oil and gas operations. Strong working knowledge of CAT engines and Ariel compressor frames is highly preferred. Solid communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Competent with computers, including Word, Excel, and field operations software. High school diploma or GED required.
