Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a specialized clinical environment focused on excellence in CT imaging and patient care. As a CT Technologist, you will play an essential role in performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures, ensuring each patient receives the highest quality diagnostic experience. This contract position offers hands-on engagement with cutting-edge equipment and collaboration with skilled radiologists and healthcare professionals.
Key Schedule Details:
Contract Position Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Clinical expertise in CT scanning (Imaging - CT) Knowledge of current CT techniques, safety protocols, and radiology procedures Strong patient interaction and communication skills Experience working with Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) Ability to administer intravenous contrast media and manage patient reactions if necessary Demonstrated understanding of radiation protection principles and ALARA techniques
Key Responsibilities:
Explain examination procedures and prepare patients for CT and, as needed, general diagnostic imaging Review clinical data and medical history to determine appropriate examination approach Prepare and stock procedure rooms, maintaining necessary supplies and sterile equipment Operate and manually control CT equipment to obtain precise diagnostic images Monitor patients during procedures, providing immediate care for any reactions to contrast media Assist radiologists during complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies Apply safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and ensure high-quality imaging Resolve image exceptions in PACS and ensure proper image delivery and documentation Accurately complete all study indexing and documentation within RIS and medical records Consistently demonstrate team values, including clear communication, a positive attitude, and respect for diversity This role is ideal for professionals passionate about CT imaging who seek to make a positive impact in patient diagnostics.
