Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver quality patient care and advanced diagnostic imaging as a skilled CT and PET/CT Technician with this contract opportunity. You'll play an integral role in providing accurate diagnostic results, supporting patient well-being, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams in a fast-paced medical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT scans, ensuring optimal image accuracy and patient safety. Prepare and administer contrast agents as needed, following all established protocols. Verify orders, obtain necessary patient histories, and explain imaging procedures. Operate imaging equipment with precision and adhere to strict safety and infection control standards. Review images for clarity and report any anomalies to radiologists or supervising clinicians. Maintain detailed documentation and electronic records in compliance with facility and HIPAA regulations. Monitor equipment operation, troubleshoot technical issues, and report maintenance needs. Support a positive patient experience by addressing questions and providing a calming, professional presence.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography, or equivalent credentialing. Prior experience performing both CT and PET/CT imaging procedures in a clinical or hospital environment. Demonstrated expertise in advanced imaging techniques and patient care. Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Adaptability and commitment to high-quality work in a dynamic healthcare setting.
