Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of medical imaging procedures. This role requires a professional committed to delivering precise diagnostic evaluations within a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards. Comfortable with contrast injections. Duties Perform high-quality computed tomography scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail. Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to interpret diagnostic images accurately and facilitate timely diagnoses. Maintain thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to optimize imaging procedures for various patient conditions. Ensure patient positioning, preparation, and comfort during procedures while providing clear instructions for optimal results. Uphold strict infection control standards and aseptic techniques throughout all imaging processes to prevent contamination. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, equipment maintenance, and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications Certification as a CT Technologist with specialized training in computed tomography from an accredited program. Proven experience performing CT scans in diverse clinical environments Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic evaluation. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members. Ability to operate complex imaging equipment safely while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety standards.
