Job Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Keyport Division Detachment Pacific (Code 04/TDC) serves as NUWC's forward presence across the Middle Pacific, Guam, and WESTPAC, providing site and detachment management under the Commanding Officer's delegated authority. Responsibilities include oversight of program management, operations, safety and occupational health, security, personnel administration (including EEO and professional development), environmental compliance, emergency preparedness, facilities and space management, and proper use of government resources and funds. The detachment also manages on-site operations, executes Navy program duties, oversees military personnel allowances, and acts as the command's liaison with local installation leadership for services and support. Supported divisions include the Hawaii Fleet Test and Operational Assessment Division (Code 24), Pearl Harbor Torpedo Division (Code 34), and Fleet Technical Support Division (Code 45). Reporting to the Program Manager, the Computer Systems Analyst provides IT systems administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for classified and unclassified hardware, software, and network infrastructure supporting the MK48 Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) on the Hawaii Detachments Support Services contract . This role supports NMCI services, APCS operations, STIG compliance, user support/training, and overall reliability of IT systems supporting heavyweight torpedo maintenance, testing, and logistics operations within a secure industrial environment. This position is located in Ewa Beach, HI. What You'll Do Monitors system status for approximately 213 computer systems and assets; prepares and maintains documentation for moves, additions, and changes (MACs) in Navy Enterprise Tool (NET) and Request for Service or Product (RSP) systems. Provides technical support for Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) systems, including troubleshooting, application updates, user profiles, hardware repair/replacement, and network issues. Submits trouble tickets to NMCI Service Desk and
NUWCDIVKPT
Helpdesk. Installs, replaces, and repairs ancillary IT equipment such as mounts, network cabinets, and cables. Performs installation, testing, troubleshooting, operation, repair, cabling, password resets, preventive and corrective maintenance on networks, servers, and computer systems. Manages access control via Lenel System, Closed Caption TV, electronic bulletin boards, and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) hardware. Analyzes and resolves hardware/software interface and interoperability problems. Monitors consumables, orders replacements, processes excess material, and handles hazardous materials disposal. Provides training to Government and Contractor personnel on system operation, applications, network services, and printer mapping. Performs system administration functions for user access, permissions, and NMCI-related issues. Maintains the Automated Process Control System (APCS), including troubleshooting, report generation, data and system change requests, and Postmaster Notices. Performs scanning and remediation of network devices per System Technical Implementation Guide (STIG); applies anti-virus, OS patches, drivers, and updates. Attends weekly Document Review Board meetings and hosts APCS Users Team meetings. Delivers, transfers, loads, and offloads IT hardware, software, consumables, peripherals, and related equipment. Provides technical support for surge requirements as needed. Bid and proposal support if requested. Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience) from an accredited university required. At least three to seven (3-7) years of professional experience in systems analysis, network administration, or IT support. Solid understanding of IT systems administration, network troubleshooting, hardware maintenance, and information security principles. Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving techniques to complex hardware/software systems, NMCI environments, and specialized applications such as APCS. Proficiency with relevant tools and technologies including
NMCI, STIG
compliance, Lenel access control, VTC systems, and standard office productivity software. Prior experience in U.S. Navy or Defense Contractor IT support environments, particularly with NMCI, classified systems, or industrial/maintenance facility support is preferred. Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Must possess strong time management skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds. The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, or recurring and considerable walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and climbing such as in performing regular shop activities, inspections, or to observe and study operations in an industrial or comparable work area or on-board submarines and in weapon facilities. Willingness and ability to work in industrial/shipyard-adjacent environments with potential exposure to noise and varying conditions.
Travel Required:
~10% travel required. INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $89,112 - $90,170 per year. This position is eligible to participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses, and other rewards and benefits (see more about our compensation package and benefits offered at Culture @ INDUS | INDUS Technology). The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
