Concrete Finisher

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces to meet project specifications and quality standards. You will work closely with other trades such as carpenters, masons, and heavy equipment operators to ensure efficient workflow on diverse construction sites. Your expertise will help create durable, aesthetically pleasing concrete structures that stand the test of time. Responsibilities Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and edgers to achieve desired surface textures and levels Set forms and molds for concrete placement, ensuring accurate alignment according to blueprints and schematics Operate power tools including concrete mixers, pumps, and vibrating equipment to facilitate efficient pouring and setting processes Install rebar reinforcement and metal mesh to strengthen concrete structures in accordance with engineering specifications Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support ongoing construction activities Conduct repairs or touch-ups on existing concrete surfaces during renovation or restoration projects Requirements Proven experience in concrete finishing, formwork, rebar installation, or related construction trades Strong mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment operation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise execution of tasks Knowledge of masonry, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and caulking techniques is a plus Familiarity with construction estimating processes and site safety protocols Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions Valid driver's license mandatory with transportation commercial driving or heavy equipment operation knowledge Construction site experience including renovation projects or commercial building environments is highly desirable Join our team if you're passionate about creating high-quality concrete structures!
