Our projects primarily include residential foundations, flatwork, driveways, patios, sidewalks, RV pads, retaining walls, custom homes, and subdivision work throughout Northern Utah, with occasional light commercial projects. This is a hands-on field position requiring experience in concrete forming, grading, placing, and finishing. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor construction environment. Candidates must have experience operating construction equipment and working safely around active jobsites. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and construction drawings Set forms for foundations, flatwork, sidewalks, patios, driveways, steps, and retaining walls Assist with layout, grading, elevations, and site preparation Install rebar, welded wire mesh, dowels, and reinforcement per project specifications Place, rake, screed, float, edge, broom, and finish concrete surfaces Operate power tools, hand tools, laser levels, power screeds, vibrators, and finishing equipment Operate construction equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, and other small machinery as needed Assist with excavation, subgrade preparation, and gravel placement Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures Work efficiently alongside crew members and foremen to complete projects on schedule Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely Perform physically demanding labor in varying weather conditions Qualifications 2+ years of concrete finishing and/or form setting experience preferred Strong understanding of residential concrete construction practices Experience with flatwork, foundations, forming, grading, and concrete finishing Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, and other compact construction equipment preferred Ability to read tape measures, grades, and construction plans accurately Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor daily Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required Experience towing and backing trailers is a plus Clean driving record preferred Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Preferred Experience Decorative or stamped concrete Residential custom home construction Excavation and utility work Foundation forming and wall systems Laser level and layout experience What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Steady year-round work Opportunities for advancement Family-oriented work environment Variety of residential projects Well-maintained tools and equipment We are looking for dependable team members who take pride in their work, show up ready to perform, and contribute positively to the crew every day.
