Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and supervise heavy civil and municipal concrete construction projects. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications, ADA requirements, and city code standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience operating heavy equipment, and a thorough understanding of municipal infrastructure construction including sidewalks, paving, utilities, grading, curb and gutter, and public works projects. Experience coordinating with city inspectors, engineers, and project managers is essential. Responsibilities Lead and supervise concrete and heavy civil crews on active construction sites Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans, specifications, ADA requirements, and local/city codes Read and interpret blueprints, grading plans, utility plans, and construction drawings Coordinate daily construction activities including excavation, formwork, concrete placement, finishing, curing, paving, and utility installation Operate and oversee the use of heavy equipment including skid loaders, excavators, loaders, rollers, and other site equipment as needed Work closely with project managers, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules and quality standards Monitor project progress and assist with scheduling, manpower coordination, and material planning Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; conduct safety meetings and daily site inspections Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout all phases of construction Troubleshoot field issues and adapt to changing site conditions while maintaining productivity and workmanship Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation, and communication regarding project progress Qualifications Proven experience supervising concrete, heavy civil, or municipal construction projects Strong understanding of ADA compliance requirements and city/public works construction standards Experience with sidewalks, curb and gutter, paving, utilities, drainage, grading, and site concrete work Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and grade stakes Proficiency operating heavy equipment and managing field crews Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safe construction practices Experience working with inspectors, municipalities, and public infrastructure projects Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Primavera P6, or similar platforms is preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills CDL preferred but not required Why Join Us Join a team that takes pride in building quality infrastructure that serves communities for years to come. Pay:
$30.00 - $34.00 per hour
