Concrete Laborer

Job Summary Rock Hard Concrete & Excavating is a locally owned business in Montrose, MI that performs a variety of tasks that assist in the completion of projects. It is crucial to have the skills necessary to work as a valued team member to provide the type of service our customers have come to expect. To perform in this position sufficiently, the employee must be able to perform the following duties satisfactorily. The descriptions below represent, but do not limit, the duties expected of this position. Duties Anything and everything related to concrete- finishing, forming, earthwork, and site utilities. From unloading and moving construction materials to building forms and working on concrete pours Finish, and repair concrete in new and existing structures Install panels for poured walls Frame/rail forms for flatwork Bull Float and Hand Mag experience Place concrete into forms and finish according to specified finish Other duties to be assigned Requirements 1+ year of Concrete Finishing experience required Willingness to learn and follow all safety policies and requirements This position requires climbing, kneeling, bending and crawling often as well as the ability to be on your all day Must be able to understand English Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Valid Driver's License required

Preferred:

proficiency in concrete form work, decorative stamp work, concrete saw cutting, and/or tying rebar Travel may be required for this position as the employee must be willing to travel to surrounding job sites.

Environment:

As a Concrete Laborer, you will be subject to various work environments. Environments include but are not limited to the following: high/low temperatures, areas close to traffic, loud and frequent noises, confined spaces, indoor/outdoor settings.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
