As a Construction Specialist, you will be actively involved in various phases of construction, from site preparation to finishing touches. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Assist with site setup, including layout and preparation using blueprint reading and schematics. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as excavation, concrete finishing, and framing. Execute carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinetry installation, and framing. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Perform specialized work such as roofing, masonry, stucco application, tile laying, plastering, and concrete forming. Use hand tools and fabrication techniques for precise installation of glass, cabinetry, and other fixtures. Support restoration projects by applying skills in welding, caulking, painting, and flooring installation. Collaborate with team members to interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate execution of tasks. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and operating heavy machinery responsibly. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with familiarity in construction management principles. Skilled in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation. Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical systems, drywall installation, and concrete finishing. Proficient in operating power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely. Knowledge of construction safety standards and inspection procedures. Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for electrical or plumbing systems. Experience with fabrication techniques including masonry, stucco application, roofing, and tile laying is preferred. Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities. Valid certifications or training related to construction inspection or specific trades are a plus but not mandatory.
