Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction CAD Designer and Project Coordinator to join our innovative team. This role is essential in translating Sports Field As-Builts and Rover coordinates to 2d and 3D engineering concepts into precise, comprehensive CAD drawings while coordinating multiple construction projects seamlessly. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that design intent aligns with project specifications, timelines are met, and communication flows smoothly across all stakeholders. Responsibilities Develop detailed construction drawings and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, GPS Rover CSV, DXF, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks to accurately represent project designs. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to interpret design concepts into actionable plans. Coordinate project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of all CAD-related deliverables. Assist with Construction Crew time management and onsite working hours. Utilize tools like SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max to create visualizations, 3D models, and animations that enhance project presentations. Review and modify drawings based on construction crew feedback or site conditions while maintaining adherence to industry standards and building codes. Manage document control processes using Bluebeam, GPS Rover, or similar software to streamline revisions, markups, and sharing of project files. Assist in system design, civil construction design layouts, irrigation design schematics, and graphic presentations to support comprehensive project development. Skills Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks is essential. Strong experience with SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D for parametric modeling and visualization tasks. Knowledge of construction processes and ability to interpret technical schematics and drafting standards. Familiarity with Bluebeam for PDF markup management and document control workflows. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Background in civil construction, underground systems design, graphic design or system design is a plus.
