Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks related to pouring concrete and building forms such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces or using saws to cut wood for forms.
• Use hand tools and power tools on construction sites
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout and dimensions of concrete forms
• Set up and dismantle concrete forms according to specifications
• Pour, spread, and smooth concrete using various techniques
• Apply sealants and curing compounds to protect concrete surfaces
• Repair and patch damaged concrete surfaces
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion

Skills:

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for concrete finishing
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques for formwork construction
• Familiarity with concrete pumping equipment and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction plans
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
