Construction Laborer

Responsibilities Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality standards. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently across various construction tasks. Support masonry work including bricklaying, stucco application, and tile laying to enhance project aesthetics and durability. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Perform heavy lifting and material handling to move supplies, equipment, and materials around the site. Aid in renovation and restoration projects by preparing surfaces, applying caulking, trim carpentry, or roofing as needed. Conduct site cleanup, organize materials, and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with construction estimating is advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is essential. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for various construction tasks. Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring (including concrete pumping), finishing, and formwork techniques. Experience with masonry, metal stud framing, framing carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, stucco application, or roofing is a plus. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work; willingness to work in diverse weather conditions. $23.66 - $28.50 per hour
