Job Summary We are seeking an exceptional Construction Manager to oversee a long‑term, mission critical construction project in the Los Angeles region. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end construction oversight, stakeholder coordination, and project execution, while upholding the highest quality standards. This includes tailoring unique solutions for HVAC/generator/utility to ensure uninterrupted equipment operation. This is an outstanding opportunity for a construction project lead or construction manager with 5+ years of experience to advance their career with Salas O'Brien, a leader in the AEC industry. You'll take ownership of a high-impact, critical project, with success driven by initiative, accountability, and end-to-end project delivery expertise. This is a permanent full-time position with an expected base salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 USD per year
Responsibilities:
Lead weekly update construction conferences with clients Manage RFIs, submittals, and coordination with the design team Coordinate with all parties involved during construction phases - including clients, project managers, vendors, contractors, landlords, building departments, etc. Create Method of Procedure (MOPs) for clients detailing each step of a specific task on a project Ensure uninterrupted operations in critical environments through customized HVAC, generator, and utility solutions Develop client Method of Procedures for project execution Review construction drawings, maintain schedules, and update the client portal Build strong client relationships through high quality project delivery Update schedule using online construction portal (Project Mates)
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
Experience:
5+ years of experience managing construction projects
Technical Skills:
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm Basic understanding of Building Automation/ Management systems Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm Basic understanding of Building Automation/ Management systems Proficiency in using engineering tools and software to: Develop project schedules and track progress against milestones and deadlines Develop project budgets and track status. LI-Onsite Compensation & Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
