Construction Project Executive

We are working with a leading construction firm to appoint a senior Project Executive to lead complex construction programmes from early engagement through completion. This role sits at the centre of client delivery, acting as the primary liaison between the client and Kajima, with full accountability for programme, quality and financial outcomes.

The role You will provide end‑to‑end leadership across multiple projects, overseeing preconstruction, design and construction operations. The position operates across both Design/Build and General Contracting projects and carries responsibility for building strong, credible client relationships while driving consistent commercial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading all phases of project delivery, from early design and estimating through construction and close‑outEstablishing and maintaining master project schedules, including decision gates, procurement and long‑lead itemsActing as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring alignment on scope, programme and financial expectationsDelivering projects in full compliance with contract documents and agreed commercial targetsSetting and maintaining company quality standards across all phases of deliveryLeading, developing and coordinating project teams across preconstruction, design and constructionEnsuring compliance with safety, insurance, labour relations and equal employment requirementsOverseeing applications for payment, cash flow and disbursement of fundsProviding clear reporting on project progress, financial performance and client relationshipsSupporting business development by taking project leads through to successful award and executionAbout youBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or ArchitectureMinimum of 15 years' experience delivering Design/Build construction projectsStrong background in building construction and interiorsDeep knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principlesProven experience leading large, multidisciplinary teamsWell‑developed communication and client‑facing skillsThis is a senior leadership role suited to someone comfortable operating at both strategic and delivery levels, with a strong track record of managing complex client relationships and large project teams.
