Construction Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Smyrna, GA that is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple renovation and remodel projects from initial planning through completion. This role is responsible for managing project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination across multiple sites and contractors to ensure successful delivery. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role requiring strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Summary:

The Construction Project Manager will review site surveys and assist in developing project scope, while also evaluating contractor estimates to ensure alignment with project requirements and cost expectations. This individual will manage owner-provided materials, support procurement coordination, and review contracts and change orders throughout the project lifecycle. This role is accountable for maintaining project schedules and key milestones, including preconstruction, project start, execution, turnover, and closeout. The Project Manager will lead preconstruction discussions with internal partners to review logistics and ensure readiness, while also addressing unforeseen issues during construction to keep projects on track. A key component of this role includes coordinating with multiple contractors across different markets and ensuring consistent communication with internal stakeholders. The position also involves site visits to monitor progress, validate completed work, and conduct final walkthroughs to ensure projects meet quality standards and closeout requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of construction project management experience (commercial or multi-site environments preferred)
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects across different locations
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and contractor management
• Experience reviewing project scopes, estimates, contracts, and change orders
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and key project milestones effectively
• Experience coordinating with general contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues in real time
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
