Construction Project Superintendent

Job Description Description:

Oversee day-to-day field operations to ensure construction work is executed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site personnel to maintain efficient workflow and productivity Ensure site safety regulations and compliance with OSHA and company standards Monitor project progress, resolve field issues, and coordinate with project management to address changes or delays Ensure materials, equipment, and labor resources are properly planned, scheduled, and utilized on-site Construction Management Software Accountabilities Manage and update project schedules Manage and complete tasks Post daily logs Conduct daily safety inspection

Requirements:

Education/Knowledge Bachelor's or associate degree in construction management or equivalent combination of degree/experience Proficiency in current computer programs, including Builder Trend Experience/Skills Five plus years as a construction superintendent Goal-oriented, flexible, and ability to build a team Strong organizational and excellent problem-solving skills Proven ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors and co-workers Strong verbal and written communication (ability to communicate bi-lingually is a plus), comprehension, reasoning and decision-making skills Valid driver's license Must be able to move and transport objects up to 50 pounds and position self to complete required tasks
