Construction Site Supervisor

Overview Are you in the construction trades and looking for an opportunity to share your knowledge and mentor others? Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County is looking for a Full-Time Construction Site Manager to join our construction team and help coordinate tasks while supervising teams of volunteers on Habitat build sites. Strong leadership and communication are key to successful engagement and mentoring of volunteer teams. This role is vital in ensuring that all aspects of the construction process are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications. The regular workweek is Tuesdays through Saturdays, with some flexibility. Duties Supervise daily construction activities on-site, coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and volunteer team members to ensure smooth operations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to verify work aligns with design specifications. Assist Construction Manager with project schedules to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation. Oversee quality control processes, inspecting work for adherence to standards and addressing issues promptly. Lead supervision of on-site volunteer teams, providing guidance, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and experience implementing safety programs on-site.

Pay:

$25.96 per hour
