Construction Welder

Producing everything from mechanical equipment, PLCs and optimization systems equipped with digital vision scanners. Our products also deliver fully automated production lines. The company has over 1500 employees working in our divisions located across North America. As a Construction Welder you will set up, operate, and maintain welding and Cutting equipment. Fabricate and assemble steel, through the use of welders, torches, grinders, and measuring tools according to specifications. You will repair and fabricate metal equipment and structures of various sizes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• All Position Stick welding
• Oxy/Acet. Cutting
• Safe operation of grinders and cutting equipment
• Supply normal welding tools (machines are supplied)
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Work in a safe manner at a high production rate
• Able to level, square and align parts
• Lift and hold 50lbs and be able to set it down gently
• Climb up and down equipment to fit parts or to weld parts sometimes one handed
• Rigging and hoisting with overhead crane
• Stand for 8-10 hours
• Able to work on ladders
• Work in the rain, snow, and cold Skills and Qualifications
• Strong capacity for teamwork
• Minimum 2 years construction or sawmill experience
• Good communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude a must
• Demonstrate initiative and autonomy

$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
