Job Description:
Operates, trains, and integrates Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM) module of the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC). Operates, integrates, and provides classroom instruction and over-the-shoulder support on fielded Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming (LVCG) simulation models in support of exercises and training in classrooms and work cells, and other designated training locations. Maintains and updates, as required, existing training support packages that integrate training products, materials, and other pertinent information necessary to train the LVCG environments. Responsible for the set-up, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of simulation systems and components. Works with training audience and Exercise Planning Team to compose, build, and install simulation databases. Technical expert on the employment of simulations and/or gaming systems that stimulate command and control systems. Supports the design, planning, preparation, execution, and recovery of systems to support exercise training and control functions. Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness. Updates course documentation as needed to ensure timeliness and relevance. Participates in special projects as required.
Qualifications:
AA/AS, subject immaterial. 3+ years of related experience. Information Assurance Technology I (IAT I) or DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) equivalent. Comprehensive knowledge of military simulation models, preferably in Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC)-Multi-Resolution Federation (JLCCTC-MRF)/Warfighting Simulation (WARSIM) functional operations.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills; Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs; Advanced knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter.
