Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
: The Continuous Improvement Manager leads the design and execution of continuous improvement initiatives across the Fairfield and Ukiah plants. This role serves as the subject matter expert for Lean Six Sigma, driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with plant and corporate objectives. The position partners closely with plant leadership and HQ corporate teams to deliver measurable performance improvements and build continuous improvement capabilities across Crealis
USA. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The CI Manager all Crealis USA facilities (Gobbi St Ukiah Ca Ford Rd Ukiah, and 2601 Maxwell Way Fairfield): Strategic Leadership Develop and execute a continuous improvement strategy aligned with plant and corporate priorities. Partner with plant leadership to identify, prioritize, and track improvement initiatives and KPIs. Project Leadership Lead cross-functional improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies. Manage a portfolio of CI initiatives to drive measurable improvements in cost, quality, safety, and delivery. Coaching & Development Coach and mentor cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and problem-solving methods. Promote employee engagement and a sustainable continuous improvement culture. Operational Excellence Implement and sustain Lean practices, including 5S, standard work, visual management, and waste reduction. Lead Kaizen events and support root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Collaboration & Communication Act as a CI liaison between Fairfield and Ukiah to ensure consistency of practices. Communicate progress, results, and recommendations to senior leadership. Performance Management Monitor CI project performance, ROI, and sustainability through standardization and audits. Support compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Additional Requirements :
Regular travel between Fairfield, CA and Ukiah, CA plants is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment. Proven ability to collaborate effectively and support organizational objectives. Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Well-developed leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR RELATED EXPERIENCE
: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field required.
REASONING COMPETENCY
: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions. Ability to resolve problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
LANGUAGE COMPETENCY
: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
MATHEMATICAL COMPETENCY
: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Ability to interpret and present data using charts and graphs.
COMPUTER COMPETENCY
: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project experience preferred. Experience with data entry systems; AutoCAD familiarity preferred.
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to multitask. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and basic hand tools.
OTHER TRAINING OR CERTIFICATION
: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in an industrial environment, including at least three (3) years in a Continuous Improvement Manager role; experience in capsule manufacturing preferred. Occasional travel to other company locations may be necessary. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including time on the shop floor. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
