Job Description
Position Summary This role serves as the central coordinator for all construction contract documentation, acting as the primary liaison between clients, project managers, and subcontractors. You will be responsible for ensuring technical and administrative compliance throughout the full project life-cycle, from initial drafting and negotiations to final close-out.
What You'll Do:
Contractual Oversight:
Review and apply contract procedures in alignment with federal/state laws and internal policies.Document Management:
Compile, proofread, and coordinate submittals including certificates of insurance, certified payrolls, and safety policies.Project Support:
Assist Project Managers with tracking notices for delays or changed conditions and managing the systematic retention of all project records.Financial Coordination:
Participate in project invoicing, past-due account collections, and the transfer of documents to corporate accounting.Must-Haves:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent 2-year degree with 3+ years of related experience).Technical Skills:
Expert proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel/SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat.Specialized Experience:
Prior experience in paralegal work or risk management is highly preferred.Essentials:
Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a drug-free workplace screening. The "Plus"Factors:
Active CA Notary Public:
Current commission to handle official project documentation in-house.Legal/Risk Experience:
Prior background as a Paralegal or in Risk Management to navigate complex contract language and liability.Safety Compliance:
Experience maintaining OSHA logs and participating in Safety Committees.Advanced Software:
Mastery of SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat for systematic record retrieval and protection.Full Life-Cycle Knowledge:
Proven ability to handle Project Close-Out procedures and regulatory reporting.Pay:
$90,000.00- $120,000.
