Job Description

Description:
The HR Systems Support Specialist will provide frontline support for HR systems, data integrity, and operational processes. This role serves as the first point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and is responsible for triaging issues, supporting day-to-day system operations, and ensuring accurate and timely HR data across systems. The HR Systems Support Specialist partners closely with HR, Payroll, and senior HRIS analysts to support system stability, resolve routine issues, and escalate complex cases as needed. This position plays a critical role in maintaining exceptional employee experience, user confidence, and data accuracy, and efficient HR operations in a global environment.
Responsibilities:
Tier One HRIS Support & Help Desk:
Act as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers by managing the AskHR ticket system and support requests and inquiries. Resolve routine system issues related to: Employee data changes Workflow stalls Basic configuration or access questions. Triage issues and escalate complex or system-impacting items to HR Operations & Technology, Total Rewards, Talent Management, or vendors as appropriate. Refresh, Create and validate standard HR reports to support HR and Payroll operations. Deliver concierge-level service by communicating clearly, setting expectations, and following up to ensure user needs are fully resolved.
SuccessFactors & HR Systems Support:
Monitor and address stalled workflows and replication errors. Perform routine audits to ensure HR data accuracy and completeness. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-go-live activities as needed. Assist with basic data preparation and validation for system loads or corrections. Identify recurring user pain points and surface feedback to HRIS Analysts to inform system and process improvements.
Payroll & Time Support:
Support payroll-related system processes in ADP under established procedures. Assist with payroll processing tasks and time-related system support as assigned. Partner with Payroll and HRIS Analysts to resolve system-related payroll issues. Run hourly weekly payrolls serve as back up to Payroll processing.
Documentation, Training & Process Support:
Follow documented system procedures and job aids. Assist in maintaining user guides, FAQs, and support documentation. Participate in HRIS training and continuous learning activities. Serve as an advocate for the end-user experience, ensuring support materials are accessible, clear, and written in plain language.
Scope & Decision Making:
Focuses on execution, support, and issue resolution within established processes. Escalates system enhancements and advanced analysis to HRIS Analysts.
Requirements:
Exposure to
HRIS, HR
operations, payroll support, or systems support. Basic experience with HR systems (SuccessFactors, SAP, Workday, ADP, or similar preferred). Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, filters, lookups). Strong customer service mindset with a genuine commitment to user care and clear communication. Ability to follow documented processes and identify when escalation is required. Continuous learner with interest in HR technology.
Location requirements:
Schedule:
5 days/8hr - Friday from home on their off day and either Tues/Wed/Thurs from home on the other week. (4 days on-site, 1 day from home) Contract duration: Approximately 6 to 9+ months
Compensation:
$35 to $45 per hour
