Job Title:
Contract Pharmacist Job Description Deliver a high level of customer service while maintaining efficiency and accuracy. Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations, including State Board of Pharmacy requirements. Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions. Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate records and ensure proper medication handling and storage. Essential Skills Pharmacy expertise Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD Active Pharmacist license in the state of Mississippi CPR certification Experience in retail pharmacy and healthcare environments Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in prescription handling Compounding skills Work Environment This is a contract position with first shift hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role is based in a closed-door pharmacy where medications are prepared and delivered by courier to patients. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Southaven, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $52.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
