Overview We are seeking an experienced Category Strategy Advisor / Senior Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities focused on Civil and/or Electrical & Instrumentation Services. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of contracts, executing end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes, and contributing to category strategy and go-to-market initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong contracting experience, procurement expertise, and the ability to drive business value through effective supplier management, negotiation, and market insights. This position requires independent judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of procurement processes and tools. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience; no formal degree is required, although prior experience in Civil construction and/or Electrical & Instrumentation trades is preferred. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of agreements and new procurement requests, ensuring efficient purchasing of goods and services Negotiate contract pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve lowest total system cost and mitigate supply and legal risk Execute end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes in compliance with procurement policies and control systems Maintain and update contract portfolio (scope changes, pricing, exhibits, amendments) Monitor contract compliance and supplier performance; resolve issues and ensure proper utilization Drive transactional efficiency through effective use of procurement systems and tools Identify cost savings, business value, and continuous improvement opportunities Support and influence category strategy and go-to-market initiatives Provide market intelligence and insights to internal stakeholders and category teams Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders Implement fit-for-risk process improvements to enhance procurement effectiveness Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management Experience managing complex contracts or operating at a senior specialist level Preferred background in Civil construction and/or Electrical & Instrumentation services Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes and procurement systems Expertise in contract negotiation, development, and management Understanding of total cost of ownership and value-based sourcing Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong decision-making ability Effective communication and influencing skills Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Looking for meaningful work?
