Job Description

Equity is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Electrical Controls Technician to join a growing team on first shift. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on electrical wiring and troubleshooting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative shop environment supporting production and control systems.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm
Responsibilities:
Install and assemble control wiring systems according to electrical schematics and specifications Ensure all wiring is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on control wiring systems Assist with the setup and layout of new shop space Update wiring diagrams and schematics as needed Work closely with engineers and technicians to support new control system projects Partner with QA/QC teams to test control wiring systems for functionality and compliance Support Controls Foreman with building and picking BOMs (Bill of Materials) Help maintain inventory, stock, and consumable materials Maintain clean and organized shop, yard, and storage areas Assist with implementing new processes, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED Experience installing and troubleshooting control wiring systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
Electrical Technician, Technologist, or Electrician background Electrical or Controls Engineering experience Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus Apply today to join a company that values quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement! #indkcfa
