$150,000–$200,000 base salary + benefits A well-established services organization is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations and provide strong financial leadership. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys working closely with ownership and driving accuracy, structure, and process improvement. Position Overview The Controller will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls while leading a small accounting team. Key Responsibilities As the Controller , you will: Oversee full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Ensure compliance with GAAP and strengthen internal controls Partner with leadership on financial strategy and operational decisions Qualifications Experience in the construction industry Proven experience in a senior accounting or controllership role Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff Hands-on, detail-oriented leadership style Why This Opportunity This Controller role offers stability, visibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing, well-run organization with a fully in-office team environment.
