This is a newly created Controller role with a well-established, growing distribution company that has been in business for over 50 years and supports major national restaurant clients across 1,000+ locations. This is a ground-floor opportunity reporting directly to the CEO where you will have real visibility, influence, and the ability to build structure and drive change. Responsibilities:

? Lead close process and financial reporting ? Analyze margins, inventory, and profitability ? Oversee inventory accounting, cost control, and KPIs ? Partner with operations, purchasing, and leadership ? Manage cash flow, AR/AP, and compliance ? Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis ? Supervise and develop accounting/finance staff ?

Requirements:

? 5-10+ years of accounting experience ? Distribution / inventory-heavy environment required ? Strong inventory and cost accounting background ? Advanced Excel, ERP (SAP or similar), and systems skills ? Power BI / dashboarding experience preferred ? Hands-on, operational, and detail-oriented ???? $150K - $170K | ????
