Controller Corporate Services | Stoltzfus Family of Companies Make an impact where it matters. This is more than a reporting role—it's a seat at the table where your insights will directly influence strategy, operations, and long-term success. About the Role As Controller, you'll serve as the financial leader across multiple entities within the Stoltzfus group. You'll oversee accounting operations, ensure financial integrity, and provide actionable insights that guide key business decisions. This role offers a unique blend of strategic influence and day-to-day involvement, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. What You'll Do Financial Leadership & Reporting Own the accuracy and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (US GAAP) Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation reviews Develop clear, insightful financial reporting packages for leadership Accounting Operations Oversee AP, AR, and General Ledger functions—with direct involvement as needed Ensure timely, accurate transaction processing and reconciliations Strengthen and refine accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Cash Flow & Financial Planning Manage cash flow forecasting across multiple entities and projects Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling Evaluate capital investments, contracts, and growth opportunities Compliance & External Coordination Coordinate with external firms on tax preparation and filings Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Support audit readiness and external financial reviews Systems & Process Improvement Optimize ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, Epicor, Deacom, or similar) Identify and implement improvements that drive efficiency and accuracy HR & Payroll Oversight Oversee payroll administration and compliance Support benefits administration and HR reporting What You Bring Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership Experience in multi-entity or small-to-mid-sized business environments Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel What Sets You Apart You're not just maintaining the status quo—you're looking for ways to improve it.
