Role:

CV Resources is partnering with a well-established organization in Metro Salt Lake City to identify a Financial Controller . This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of technical accounting expertise, leadership experience, and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close Oversee the preparation of internal and external financial statements and support annual audits Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy Manage and develop accounting staff, fostering a high-performing team environment Partner with leadership on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning Provide guidance on financial risks, compliance, and operational improvements Coordinate audit activities and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred) CPA required 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including both public accounting and industry Strong experience with consolidations and multi-entity environments Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams Deep knowledge of GAAP, audit, and financial reporting

Preferred Experience:

Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) Advanced Excel skills Background in complex or multi-entity organizations
