$47.00 - $59.00 | Based on Experience Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller / Financial Controller to oversee financial operations for an industrial supply manufacturing company in Huntington Beach. This role is responsible for financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and cash flow management , while supporting strategic decision-making and long-term business growth. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in corporate accounting, financial analysis, and manufacturing finance environments , along with the ability to lead and optimize financial processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Manage all aspects of governmental and non-profit accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards Lead the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support organizational objectives Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger accounting to maintain precise financial records Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections Ensure effective cash management through monitoring cash flow, forecasting liquidity needs, and optimizing banking relationships Oversee regulatory reporting requirements and coordinate external audits with auditors to ensure compliance Prepare detailed financial reports, analysis, and commentary for senior management and stakeholders Utilize accounting software such as Sage, SAP, or similar platforms to streamline financial operations Support technical accounting issues including revenue recognition, lease accounting, or complex transactions Ensure accurate account reconciliation by verifying debits and credits within the general ledger system Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or financial management Proven expertise in IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, SAP, or similar platforms Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and technical accounting Ability to lead a team while managing multiple priorities with precision Work Environment & Expectations Hands-on leadership role within a manufacturing and industrial environment High level of accountability for financial accuracy, compliance, and reporting deadlines Cross-functional collaboration with leadership and operational teams Why This Role Stands Out Opportunity to lead financial operations within a growing manufacturing company High visibility role with direct impact on business strategy and performance Ability to shape processes, reporting, and financial infrastructure Equal Opportunity Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including California's Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).
