Back To Results Controller Job Description Controller Who:
A rapidly scaling, acquisition-driven organization is seeking a hands-on Controller with strong technical expertise and experience in high-growth environments.
What:
This role will own the full accounting lifecycle while optimizing ERP systems, enhancing reporting, and supporting operational scalability.
When:
This opportunity is available immediately due to continued growth and acquisition activity.
Where:
This is a fully in-office position based in Alpharetta, GA requiring daily on-site presence.

Office Environment:
This is a demanding, fast-paced, high-growth, in-office environment requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage heavy workloads.
Salary:
Base salary up to $160,000 +/- plus up to 20% bonus, 401(k) match of 100% on the first 3% and 50% on the next 2%, and 17 days PTO prorated in the first year.
Position Overview:
The Controller will lead accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive system and process improvements in a dynamic environment.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead all accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and reporting
    • Manage month-end close and financial reporting processes
    • Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls
    • Develop and improve accounting policies and procedures
    • Optimize ERP system usage and reporting capabilities
    • Support audits and work with external accounting partners
    • Oversee multi-state compliance and tax processes
    • Support system improvements and integrations
    • Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team
    Qualifications:
    • CPA required
    • 10+ years of accounting experience
    • Experience in high-growth environments (required)
    • Strong ERP and systems experience (required)
    • Advanced Excel skills with heavy daily usage (required)
    • Strong technical accounting knowledge
    • Experience with audits and external partners
    • Experience with revenue reporting and process improvement
