Controller (Manufacturing required)

Job DescriptionJob Description LHH is hiring a Controller on behalf of our client. This is a key role in the organization owning all of the Accounting, Finance, and Costing for this large manufacturing location.

MANUFACTURING AND STANDARD COSTING ARE REQUIRED.

Team :

Oversee a team of 6-8, all professional, no clerical Job includes: Monthly close, accruals, reconciliation, financial statements and oversight of the day to day accounting Standard Cost Accounting including ability to teach this to new team members and to do the work hands on sometimes; ability to quote pricing accurately while protecting margins. Budget, Forecasting, Financial Analysis Reporting on all areas of the business; partnership with Plant Leadership to improve performance across the business Provide GM with strategic and cost performance improvement support Quarterly presentation to President of the company; weekly calls with division President/GM

• looking at working capital, throughput, KPIs, and various performance of the plant Hands on ability to do Analysis; Ability to do judgmentals on various accounting matters We are looking for: BS in Accounting/Finance, CPA is nice to have 10+ years' experience in Accounting, showing growth and advancement Must have Manufacturing industry experience, Plant focus experience highly preferred Must have Standard Costing experience Working knowledge of existing in a SOX environment Larger company experience is nice to have Cultural notes: Team Player with awesome communication We are looking for a Driver personality Everyone leader in the company is also a working manager and does some hands on functions Collaborative approach, works with VPs; this is a no-blame environment that focuses Attributes of curiosity, and a temperament for collaboration

Pay Details:
