Controls Engineer

Summary:

The Controls Engineer works with PLC, Robotic cells and vision equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.

• Implementing, designing, developing, installing, managing and or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.
• Responsible for internal manufacturing improvement projects and overseeing electrical build and installation.
• Maintaining all plant floor PLC, Robotic cells and Vision equipment.
• Evaluation of pre-manufactured equipment being considered for purchase ensuring adherence to design specifications and requirements with primary focus on machine controls, efficiency, reliability, and preventative maintenance.

Collaborate with co-workers to ensure success. Improve and update documents and schematics

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in conjunction with a 2 yr technical degree
• Candidate must be able to work autonomously, have problem solving skills and good communication skills
• Must be familiar with Allen-Bradley PLC's, Fanuc robots, Cognex Vision Systems, HMI, and Keyence Vision Systems.

Siemens S7 PLC's experience is a plus.

$70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

tool and manufacturing process development : 3 years (Preferred) Allen-Bradley PLC's, Fanuc robots: 3 years (Preferred)

Cognex Vision Systems, HMI, and Keyence Vision Systems:

3 years (Preferred) Siemens S7

PLC's:

1 year (Required)
