Toast & Jam Bistro Pub focuses on foods made with ingredients you can pronounce... and with that comes an increased amount of prep work. Duties Prepare and cook meals, sauces and salads according to established standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Utilize knife skills for meal preparation, ensuring precision and safety during food handling. Create a positive dining experience by serving meals with attention to detail. Skills A collaborative spirit with the ability to work well within a team. A passion for food is a bonus... and interest in learning new techniques. The willingness to take pride in your job. A strong work ethic. Must be able to lift items up to 50lbs (flour, etc) and spend several hours at a time on your feet. We focus on good quality, house-made foods. The ideal person joining our team will have a positive attitude and good communication skills. The hours will start small but this has the potential to build into something more for the right person.
