Summary :

Enhances and improves the SRI Management experience specifically in Artful Dining for residents, families, and guests, demonstrates and promotes SRIM's core value of the golden rule, and under general supervision, assists with food preparation and serving by performing the following duties. Duties Assist with menu planning to create appealing and nutritious meal options tailored to dietary needs Prepare and cook food items using proper techniques, including knife skills and food handling best practices Support food service operations by serving meals efficiently and courteously to residents or customers Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, adhering strictly to food safety standards Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling meals with precision and care Contribute to catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery Follow all food safety protocols during meal preparation, storage, and serving to prevent contamination Experience Prior experience working in dietary departments, restaurants, or the food industry is highly valued Demonstrated skills in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food handling Experience in food service roles involving meal preparation or catering is preferred Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and knife skills essential for efficient meal assembly Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a professional setting Previous roles involving dietary aide responsibilities or kitchen experience will be advantageous Strong communication skills to serve customers effectively and work collaboratively within a team Embark on a rewarding journey where your culinary talents can shine!
