The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or catering environments. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Handle food safely and adhere to all food safety regulations during preparation, cooking, and storage. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper sanitation of cooking tools and surfaces. Assist in menu planning and recipe development as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring that all food is prepared to meet client specifications. Qualifications Proven experience as a Cook in the food industry, preferably in fine dining or catering settings. Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A team player with strong communication skills who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
