Job Summary:

Under general supervision, maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment according to state and federal regulations which allows for safe and nutritional food to be served to patients and staff.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Duties/Responsibilities:

Attend work as scheduled. Adhere to Code of Conduct. Understand how to read recipes along with doubling and halving the yields. Prepare and serve meals for patients and staff. Understand proper protocol for sanitizing major and minor equipment. Clean-up from meals and food prep. Clean and sanitize dining room tables, counter tops, ice chest, and coffee/tea cart. Maintain adequate supplies of cups, coffee, and tea in break room. Stock all areas as required. Take out laundry and trash. Open and Close Kitchen. Perform other related duties as required. Required Skills/ Abilities Understanding how to read recipes along with doubling and halving the yields. Excellent time management skills to have meals go out on time. Ability to multitask. Have some computer knowledge. Good communication skills

Education and Experience:

High school diploma preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Will require some stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing/pulling with frequent standing and walking. Requires manual dexterity with the ability to perceive size, shape, temperature, or texture.

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
