In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Assist with menu planning and meal preparation to ensure timely and delicious service Prepare food items using proper cooking techniques, including knife skills and food handling best practices Support the dietary department by following dietary guidelines and accommodating special dietary needs Serve meals with professionalism, ensuring presentation aligns with quality standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations Help with catering events or special meal services as needed Ensure all food is stored properly, adhering to food safety protocols and rotation procedures Experience Previous dietary aide or dietary department experience preferred, with familiarity in menu planning and food preparation Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting, demonstrating strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations Hands-on experience with food handling, cooking, and serving in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Culinary experience including knife skills, meal preparation, and food presentation is highly desirable Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Prior experience in catering or large-scale food service is a plus Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in a dynamic setting where your skills make a difference every day!
